Spring is Coming!

Its so amazing that I made it through this winter. I can't believe how much now we got, it actually reminds me of the winters we had when I was younger. So I suppose winter 2010-2011 was a nostalgia for my youth.

With spring just around the corner Crave26 Events is working feverishly on the upcoming Paint the Town Pink Worcester event at Central Rock Climbing Gym. The event is March 30, 2011 from 6pm to 9m. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

We thank everyone for your patience as we are working on both the Paint the Town Pink, and the Crave26 Events website. Both websites are under construction to help serve current and future clients. We hope that as we transition you will notice our same great attitude with a new flare! The new websites will be up the end of March. All PTTP event information for both vendors and guests should refer to the blog for any upcoming details or information pertaining to upcoming events.

Watch out for Spring deals from Crave26 Events. Also follow us as we transition into our new venture gifting lounges. We will be posting pics, and details of our journey.

Paint the Town Pink Worcester has changed the date for its next event to March 30,2011. The event will be at Central Rock Climbing Gym from 6pm to 9pm.

Tickets are still $20 but now you have more time to get your girlfriends and there friends to come as well.

We also are super stoked to now have Vita Coco at our events! There awesome coconut water is a must have for every young professional women.

Holiday Events

I think probably my favorite time of year aside from Fall is of course the Holiday season. With this being Alexander's first Christmas I can't help but get immersed in everything green, red and white. Christmas parties our probably the most amazing events to have. To create an event with all the Christmas fixins brings on a strong sense of warmth. Everything about the holidays evokes family, coziness, and closeness to friends.

For me a holiday event should be infused with lots of green, pine, cranberries, white lightening, and holiday decadence. My favorite events to plan during the holidays are upscale elaborate holiday dinners. Its such an intimate setting, I like creating something that holds old tradition with new ideas. I think there is something to be said about something vintage with a slight twist. Creating an amazing holiday menu is also another enticing feature of events. There are so many incredible appetizers and entrees that can be dreamed up. And lets not forget the signature alcoholic beverage for the evening.

This holiday season I encourage everyone to make the best holiday party they can. Christmas nostalgia is the best antedote. This season should be filled with green, gold, red, silver and all the holiday warmth you can bring.

I can't believe its Fall already! But since this is my favorite time of the year I am so excited. Crave26 Events has so much in store for Fall. First we kicked off Paint the Town Pink Worcester at Plaza Azteca on 10/20. We had some amazing businesses participate. Bling Boutique, Untamed Salon, Arbonne, Pampered Chef, Slumber Parties by Judy, Tarot by Claudia, Airbrush Make up, and of course our always favorite DL Fitness Studios. Thanks to Fairy Spa we had an amazing raffle. Fairy Spa donated a luxury gift basket filled with there hottest spa items. Thanks so much Fairy Spa!!! Plaza Azteca was the scene for this latest PTTP event. They provided a delectable all you can eat fresh Mexican buffet, and offered up $5 Martinis and Margaritas. This was the best atmosphere for attendees to check out the latest businesses and network.

Fall Into Action with Crave26 Events

As fall approaches I am definitely upset that the summer is coming to end, but I am very excited about the upcoming fall season. Just to back track a bit this summer Crave26 Events welcomed its newest edition Alexander Luther Boyd on July 14, 2010! Mom and baby are doing fantastic.

Summer Events!!!

Crave26 Events is completely stoked that it's summer FINALLY!!! There is nothing like a great event outdoors.I feel as though there are so many options as to location and design when planning an event in the summer. While during the other seasons your limited to indoor events, it seems as though the summer offers up the great outdoors and the possibilities are endless.

In May Crave26 Events hosted a Paint the Town Pink Event at Loft 266 Bar and Lounge in Worcester, Ma. It was such a great turnout and we had some amazing businesses participate. Girls Gotta Go Travel came as well as Skinny Water serving up "Skinnitinis". Delicious!!! USANA added an excellent health touch to the event while NonPareil Jewelry rounded out the group. I have to say Erica King does a tremendous job displaying the best up to date items the business hasd to offer. If you are Pandora crazy then Erica King is your women to see.

Being in my 9 month of pregnancy it has truly been a test of my will power. The recent heat here in Massachusetts has really taking a toll on my swollen feet! I am sure any women that has been pregnant during the summer months can relate to my exhaustion and overheated symptons.(lol)I was truly delighted to plan a cocktail and appetizer get together to celebrate the upcoming birth of my son Alexander. The event was held at Luciano's Cotton Club at Union Station in Worcester, Ma. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better day 85 degrees. The event was outside and boasted a casual lively atmosphere. We decorated the event with blue and white balloons. There were ten tables that were adorned with square glass vases filled with blue iridescent marbles and water. In the vases was either a yellow rubber ducky or a blue sunflower. I think in these summer months where the temprature usually reaches 85 or above its probably smarter to keep your events light airy and effortless. If your planning an event for close family and friends as we did it made more sense to be as simplistic and classy all at the same time. All the while keeping within the theme and purpose of the event. The summer is about relaxtion, long lazy days, and cool nights. Your events should reflect this.

Too close up I want to add few notifications. Paint the Town Pink Worcester will resume its event schedule beginning at the end of August. We plan to have new businesses and new locations. I will start posting new events on the PTTP website as well as blog. I encourage everyone to visit the website amd also become a fan on Facebook. Last week was the first event for Paint the Town Pink Worcester! I am so excited to say that the event was great, and we have some awesome pics up on the Paint the Town Pink Worcester website to show. www.paintthetownpinkworc.com

I want to say thank you to Orange Salon for providing a fabolous atmosphere for this event.Orange Salon provided extension demonstration as well as free hair and make up consultations and applications. Skinny Water was there passing out samples of water! Non Pareil, SPOIL'D, Karon Shea Modeling Agency, and Claudia from the Gaia Shop added and exceptional touch to this event. The YWCA was also there educating women on their services they provide. I can't say enough how delighted I am to have had all these businesses participate!

The next event is at Loft 266 266 Park Avenue Worcester, Ma. The event is May 5, 2010from 6pm to 10pm. Skinny Water will be there passing out samples of water as well as making "Skinnitinis". In addition Non Pareil Jewelry, Wine Education Network with wine Tasting, and Claudia from The Gaia Shop doing tarot reading.

Loft 266 is the newest hotspot to hit Worcester's nightlife scene. They offer great food, drinks, and of course great company!

I am so excited that its finally Spring! I have been waiting for warm weather and a fresh start for awhile now!

As Spring is here that means Paint the Town Pink Worcester is gearing up for its next event at Orange Salon 70 Worcester Providence Turnpike Millbury, Ma 01527. The event will take place April 22, 2010 from 6pm to 11pm. We are so excited about this event because we are working with some great people at Orange Salon Paul and Holly. In addition we have some excellent businesses that have signed onto this event, which I am so excited about. Danielle at SPOIL'D is providing an exceptional showcase of Spring fashion trends. She will be bringing samples and clothing for people to buy and see at the April 22nd Womens' Spring Fix event. I encourage everyone to visit her store in Westborough, Ma on Lyman street. SPOIL'D has everything from designer duds to the casual laid back.

Karon Shea Modeling Agency has also signed on! Bringing her fresh faced models they will be there to greet you and show you how all the fabolous new spring looks will look on. Karon Shea Modeling Agency has been provdiding and producing the best of the best. She is located on Water street in Worcester, Ma!

The Womens' Spring Fix Event at Orange Salon will leave no stoned unturned. You can sample great food from the hottest restaurants in Worcester as well as sample decadent desserts and cocktails.

Orange Salon will be taking appointments as well as provide hair and make up services. They offer a wide selection of luxury haircare and make up products. So be ready to be indulged!!!

Paint The Town Pink Worcester 2010!

Paint The Town Pink is derived from one of the most celebrated nights of the week by women. Girls night out are a tradition amongst females everywhere. Whether your going out for a night out on the town or sitting at home drinking a bottle of wine with girlfriends nothing compares to sharing memories and moments with each other.

Worcester has a growing number of restaurants and businesses that are now catering towards the professional women. Crave26 Events is taking this opportunity to gather all Worcester businesses put them all under one roof for the ultimate in ladies night. Crave26 Events wants to showcase all the newest and greatest Worcester girl friendly businesses in hopes of broadening the options for girl's night out. We are attracting the young professional women bewteen the ages of 18 to 40 who indulge in the trendy hotspots that Worcester has to offer.

Getting Started

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be an event planner. I feel as though this was my destiny at a very early age. Although my event coordinating skills were not refined I always had a knack for being at the right place at the right time. For some reason wherever a party was you could be assured that I was there or at the root of it. To me now it seems funny because all my life I have been told that I have this great need to always be at the center of every social gathering. My main goal was to get to that party or get to that event. I manuevered, manipulated, and schemed. I can't quite point what my fascination was. Perhaps it was the social aspect or maybe even it was just not wanting to miss out on the next best thing. I can't really remember why or what, but I do know that creating something that brings people together in a social gathering for food, music, beverages, and fun really caught my eye.

I love the allure of creating an event with a theme that completely dumbfounds and amazes people at there very core. A night to remember is what motivates me. As a child my parents always had parties, and extreme ones for that matter. The elaborate themes, the eccentric people, the extravagant food, all brought about this feeling inside me. I just didn't want it to end. I think that creating and managing a grand event puts a sense of accomplishment on my face. That I created this thing that everyone wants to come to. And its the whispers about how great the party was or how unique and uncomparable it is after the event that makes me really shine.
